Troop 351 schedule called for a hike up Eagle Creek today. The weather didn't cooperate, so a small group instead hiked the 11.7 mile Willamette River Loop, from the Sellwood Bridge to the Steel Bridge and back.

9 am Saturday Feb 18 - it's below freezing and windy. Al, James, Ed and Matt pose above Oaks Bottom before heading for the Sellwood Bridge on the 11.7 mile loop. Playing in the ice near John's Landing
warming up in a cafe at RiverPlace hitting the trail again, headed north toward downtown Matt reads the fine print on a submarine propellor outside OMSI

On the home stretch, out of the wind and warmed by the sun, the boys found a shopping cart, decided to return it to New Seasons, and used it to hold coats and day packs on the way
Matt and Ed cross the Steel Bridge - the northernmost point of the loop Everyone takes a break on the rock sculptures under the Hawthorne Bridge
