Troop 351 traveled to Newport's Hatfield Marine Sciences Center, where the Crew joined us from their camp in Lincoln City. We toured the Visitor Center, saw a movie about sharks and watched Mia the octopus get fed. Then the Crew departed, and we went to South Beach State Park, where we had rented five yurts. It was good to be in yurts, because we got hailed on numerous times. On Sunday, we took a hike up Communication Hill at Yaquina Head, and climbed up the lighthouse.
